9/18

Found most charming place. Gabrielles. Very local. No English menus. I had one of the breakfast items. Frsh orange juice (they brought me a 2nd), 2 eggs, cheeses, chopped salad, delicious bread with jam and cappucino. If I move to that neighborhood (hint, hint) I will be a regular for sure.

Had kosher hot dog and sunflower seeds at the soccer match.

I know the dining report has not been exactly dynamic, but, I have been busy with an exciting matter which I hope to fill in soon. Not much time to eat.

Sept. 17

Not very eventful yet.

Had breakfast at Olive. Had 1 of my favorite dishes. Shakshooka. Mixture of egg, tomatoes, peppers and onions. Its like a Spanish omelette sauce. Also like this dish at Pua in Jaffa. This trip will try at Dr. Shakshooka.

Small dinner at Bugsy in Tel Aviv. Eggplant parm. Here much different. Actually it is a falafel. Deep fried eggplant with cheese mixture. No sauce. So-So.

Lunch at Twice Coffee. It is near the market. Renay and I ate there in April. Street entertainers near table and outdoor artists showing their work for blocks. I had a wonderful Greek salad with fresh squozed lemonade. I highly recommend this quaint, friendly place.

Had Shabbat dinner at Hadassah Neurim with kids. Wonderful salads and chicken schnitzel. Great ice cream bar for dessert, but, not up to my favorite, Marathon.

Stopped at Paula's for night cap. Annette (Sagi's girlfriend) joined us. So-so bar. Had 3 Goldstar beers. We left at 11:30 when it started to get crowded.
